The Xtra Plus is an even higher accuracy version of the Xtra faceting machine. The machine components are hand selected from production runs to even
tighter tolerances than the standard Xtra and the time taken to adjust the alignment and calibration of the Xtra Plus is much longer so as to get it "just right".
The result is a machine that is measurably more accurate than the standard Xtra's already tight alignments, with figures in the low microns (thousandths of a millimetre)
for parallelism and repeatability, typically 40% tighter than a standard Xtra. The package is then topped off with a two transfer blocks and double size dop holder with twice as many dops as standard.
